Save yourself from this scam!

This does not work unless you give them access to remote in to your computer to be able to log in because of that I requested a refund in which they are refusing. Do not fall for this scam!

SCAM

Webwatcher is a scam. They will take your money and ignore you if you ever try to get your money back or if you try to login to your account. I purchased the software, tried to download on the targeted phone, and I found out my phone it is not compatible, within 2 hrs of purchase, I contact them and I was advised to asked for a refund (July 2,2022), once I asked to get a refund, my account was flagged as fraud and the refund was denied. I've contact them every week since July 2, and I get the same answer "email the supervisor and you will get an answer in 72hrs" I'm tired of this people telling me lies and the supervisor not contacting me at all. I wish I can report these scammers to BBB, but they are not BBB accredited. STAY AWAY FROM THESE THIEFS.

Absolutely a Scam

This app only backs up information from the Target device which can be done for free and if the child deletes anything prior to the back up then it's not captured. Tech support also turns off your sleep mode and you must leave your computer running 24/7 for it to work.
The risk-free trial period is a beat and switch because if you simply find out after the fact that it's not what you were looking for that doesn't qualify as a refund in fact the list of reasons did they give for nonrefundable pretty much covered every scenario.

This is a horrible Predatory company. Stay away

Beware!

After subscribing for my teenage son, I thought I was signing up for 3 months and done, no, they kept charging my credit card. When I did a dispute, they refused to refund my money. Terrible customer service.

Bad business)

I did the three months subscription and I paid $59.95 dollars and there app wouldn't download. I tryed half a day to get this set up. Couldn't get anyone on the phone to talk about it. Just chat rooms. Well I requested for my money back and got denied. So I cancel the subscription and it ended the day I canceled it. Even though I paid for 3 months worth. Horrible customer service taking food out of my family's mouth. They should have refunded my money. I requested my refund that day I could not install their s***** app the guy was really snooty to me on the chat he chatted back you didn't read the print before you sent the money.so here is my 59.95 dollar review of you people you should have just gave me my money back.

Misleading and a waste of money

Totally misleading and unless you are a software coder that can point out a specific problem. NO Refund. Beware and don't even waste your time trying for a refund. SCAM, bad business, annoying that companies like this prey on people looking for legit services. I do NOT recommend them

I wish I would have read the reviews before I purchased...

I wish I would have read these reviews before I purchased. Bought and installed the product. It worked for 1 day. Then it stopped working. I contacted Customer Support and they re-issued my license and had me uninstall and re-install. I did that and it didn't work. I did that twice and it didn't work. When I purchased they offered a 7 day trial. At 6 days (after it only working for 1 single day) I reached out to customer support (again) and filed a case for a refund. I actually ended up filling 2 cases. They told me they would issue me a refund. A week later when I did not see any refund on my credit card I contacted them and they said that I was not elligible for a refund. WHAT?!?! I asked them to check the emails, the two different case numbers, the chat transcripts that I had with Tech Support and the email I had with the Refund Department. Nope. They still wouldn't refund me. I asked them if it was worth it for a measly $39.95. Apparently this is how this company does business. What an absolute joke! Even if they had a product that worked, buyer beware and pay attention to these reviews. I wouldn't want to do business with any company that has these policies in place. Staking your company name over lying about a policy all for $39.95?!?! This will eventually catch up to you WebWatcher! Do right by your customers or you won't be around much longer. AVOID THIS COMPANY!

Webwatcher / Awareness Technologies is a total Scam!

There's nothing more important than your ability to decide to refund an order if it doesn't work and you aren't happy. Webwatcher refuses to provide any refund and they will give you an excuse that you only had 72 hours to get a refund! But they insist that you hire a 'tech' to inspect your computer to make it work, which is a complete scam.

Look, they use a third party company to backup your phone called iMazing, which will eat up your entire hard drive space. The Webwatcher software looks like it was made in 2001 and it DOES NOT WORK. You can not look at messages or message history for your kids' phones. I was even on the phone with Apple and they acknowledged this is not possible.

Save yourself the time and energy and even look up Awareness Technologies BBB: https://www.bbb.org/us/ct/westport/profile/computer-software-developers/awareness-technologies-inc-*******8831

Awareness Technology Deserves Jail Time

There is no "risk free trial". My target device is an Amazon Fire. This is an Android device. After downloading the Android license (for which I was charged approx $59+), within 5 minutes of trying to install it I knew we had a problem. I got on line with their chat technician, who confirmed the software was not compatible. That person suggested I fill out a refund request. Which I did. At this point the purchase was 15 minutes old. One week and three nasty email responses later (from their "customer support team"), no refund. Nor will there ever be a refund. I suspect they make much more profit from people like me than they do from real customers. "You will be ripped off". That statement should be their written guarantee
